The Hawker 400 is a small business jet for two pilots and five to seven passengers designed by Mitsubishi. The program was sold in 1985 to Beech Aircraft Company, then a division of Raytheon Company. In 2007 Raytheon sold its light aviation division to the Canadian Group Onex Corporation with a strong stake in investment bank Goldman Sachs. Since 2003 this device has been produced and marketed under the name Hawker 400. It also produced a military version called T-1A Jayhawk in the United States and T-400 in Japan.
